january 2011, I lived at the farm

Inspired by Shari, I am going to post the twelve beautiful months of 2011 selon moi-- because holy hell-- quite a few changes occurred. As I type to you tonight, I am in possession of: a new name, a new driver's license, a new passport (dogs also have new tags with a new address)-- I live in an apartment (new to me lo, these past five months) in a new city of a new state.

Let's be clear-- I think I am all "newed up" for the New Year.

Hmmmm, as I review--
I am thinking there is quite a bit of snow on record for those first months of 2011.

  2. Such a good idea, E! Year in review by month. Maybe I'll do this too, to jumpstart my blogging again... just, maybe. No promises. ^_^

  3. Oh, I love this! LOVE. And the snow is beautiful, probably because all of ours is gone and, you know, white Christmas and all of that. I still would be fine if it didn't snow until next Thursday or so...but then...I like the magic of a sparkling white Christmas. Can't wait to see the rest of the year!

  5. What I'm seeing is that as the months rolled by, you found your grove with your camera. Each photo is more beautiful than the next. *and I love that* xo

  8. This winter is very different from last winter. Less snow and cold. As I write this, here in the midwest, it is raining. In December it is RAINING. It never rains in Minnesota in December. However, I am not complaining for it means less days with snow and below freezing temps. So who am I to complain.

    Do you miss the farm?

When I look at your photos all I do is dream of hiding out in a place like that. When I retire from teaching I am seriously looking for a serene place like the farm to spend the rest of my days blissed out in sereneness.

However, I can see that all your new life changes are exciting too. Life is good that way.

Look forward to 2011 spring and summer pics.
